| A pan-European study into the evolving role of the journalist
In April and May 2008, the Oriella PR Network, an alliance of communications agencies in 20 countries around the world, polled 347 journalists to explore how the ‘Digital Age’ has changed the way news is gathered and reported. The journalists are a cross-section of broadcast, national, regional and trade media from Benelux, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
The European Digital Journalism Study investigates the adoption of multi-channel journalism, the evolution of journalists’ skills and working practices and, importantly, the impact these changes are having on the public relations industry.
